This year marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment, ratified on August 18, 1920, that granted women the right to vote. This month we recognize that achievement with eBooks about the many great suffragettes behind the women's rights movement in the 19th century and the feminist movement that followed.

March is Women's History Month and Atkins' March book display contained works that celebrated women and honored their accomplishments. Women throughout history who inspired us then, and inspire us now - from authors, artists, and scientists to suffragettes, rock stars, and rebels.
