Atkins Library’s first monthly display was in celebration of America’s Independence Day. The books in this display are more than just history books. Did you know that John F. Kennedy, before he was president, wrote a book about eight American patriots (Profiles in Courage)? Or that Jimmy Carter wrote a novel about the American Revolution (The Hornets Nest)? Subjects range from historical fiction, biographies of heroes, to patriotic poetry. Come celebrate with us!
