Writing a paper requires a scholar to cite their work. For your Archives paper, you will be using the Chicago style for your citations. In the video below, the archivist will be using this tool from the Library of Congress for Citing Primary Sources in Chicago Style. The primary source will be a print from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper depicting African Americans en route to Kansas via St. Louis, 1879 from the Exodusters: African American Migration to the Great Plains.
