  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation and to improve the lives of individuals living with mental and substance use disorders, and their families.
  • Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) - Mental Health - CDC is the nation’s leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public’s health. 
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - The National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
  • Mental Health America (MHA) - Mental Health America is the nation's leading national nonprofit dedicated to the promotion of mental health, well-being, and illness prevention. 
  • Mental Health Resources (MHR) - A  progressive, nonprofit organization that offers community-based mental health and substance use disorder services to adults and youth recovering from serious mental illness.
  • American Counseling Association - The American Counseling Association is a not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession. 
  • The Jed Foundation - The Jed Foundation’s Mental Health Resource Center provides essential information about common emotional health issues and shows teens and young adults how they can support one another, overcome challenges, and make a successful transition to adulthood.

  • NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) - Providing quality support to achieve self-determination for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and quality services to promote treatment and recovery for individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • NAMI North Carolina - NAMI North Carolina is an organization of families, friends and individuals whose lives have been affected by mental illness. Together, we advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness.
  • North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) - NCCHCA is the HRSA funded state Primary Care Association (PCA) and Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN). The non-profit, consumer-governed Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) we represent provide integrated medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and enabling services to over one-half million patients in North Carolina. 
  • Mental Health America of Central Carolinas (MHA) - Mental Health America of Central Carolinas (MHA) provides mental health programs in Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties and surrounding areas in North Carolina. Our programs seek to raise awareness, provide support, and break stigmas associated with mental illness.
