The University Archives consist of the non-current, permanently valuable, official records of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte including the records of its predecessor institutions: the Charlotte Center of the University of North Carolina and Charlotte College. These early records provide a detailed and comprehensive documentation of the establishment and development college-level education in the Charlotte Region, 1946-1965.
