ACTIVE LEARNING includes a range from low risk to high risk learning strategies. Possible strategies include (but are not be limited to) some of the following:

Higher Risk Techniques
- individual and group project based assignments;
- student involvement in research,
- internships,
- practicum experiences,
- student teaching.
Highest Risk active learning include group based strategies such as:
- inquiry-based learning
- cooperative learning
- project-based learning
