Can items I request from Atkins Library be delivered to my home?
Yes. Charlotte Online students can have most items they request from Atkins Library delivered to their home address. Just choose the Home Delivery option when you request an item through the library's search system. Your item will be checked out to you before it is sent to you.
We can’t offer home delivery for oversized books, Special Collections items, periodicals, and reference materials.
Can items I request from other libraries be delivered to my home?
Yes. Charlotte Online students are able to have most items they request from other libraries through interlibrary loan (ILL) delivered to their home address. All first time interlibrary loan users have to register and you can request this option when you register in the ILL system. The library is unable to send ILL items that are marked for in-library use such as microfilm to a student's home address.
