Information

A geographic information system (GIS) lets us visualize, question, analyze, interpret, and understand data to reveal relationships, patterns, and trends in the form of maps, globes, reports, and charts.

A GIS helps you answer questions and solve problems by looking at your data in a way that is quickly understood and easily shared.

UNC Charlotte has a site license to ESRI software (ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro). This software is available here in the library as well as part of UNC Charlotte's Apporto system.
