Ed Perzel WSOC Project on Twentieth Century CharlotteLocal media company WSOC sponsored an oral history interview project led by UNC Charlotte history professor Dr. Edward Perzel in 1979 with elderly citizens from across Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. The interviews captured an eclectic range of reminiscences on local history from the late nineteenth century to the middle of the twentieth century. These interviews include reminiscences of the World War I era.
