This guide will help you find information about neighborhoods in Charlotte beginning in the early to mid 1900s as Charlotte's growth took off.
Some of the publications listed on this guide will be available in Special Collections. Some will be located in Local Documents which are on the third floor of Atkins Library near the front windows sort of in the middle. These publications do not circulate.
A really good starting place is Neighborhoods in Charlotte (listed under the tab Statistics), for neighborhoods that existed when the 1970 census was taken.
