About Monika:
Monika Soler Correa holds a B.A. in History and English. She is currently the Metadata Cataloger in Atkins Library's Special Collections & University Archives. In this role she has worked to document the lives and experiences of UNC Charlotte's Latinx community through the Historias de Vida oral history project. Monika is a first-generation college student and is a mother to three boys and two pets. In her time outside of Atkins, Monika loves to travel, read, listen to music, and spend time with her family.
